Dave had many different jobs before starting Yellow Pencil: bike courier, auto mechanic, waiter, ranch hand, chef and many more. Learning how each of these different roles and industries worked helped him become the problem-solving wizard he is today.
Dave founded the Yellow Pencil we know and love in the mid-90s-ish with his brother Paul. Today, he acts as YP's Director and Technical Architect. When he's not making plans (big plans) for the future of Yellow Pencil, he talks to our clients about how systems work, and how servers and computers and people can all happily coexist.
Dave also travels. A lot. Check his Twitter feed to find out what airport he’s at now.
