Well I’m back from presenting at both the HOW Interactive and Future of Web Design conferences and they were amazing. Very different crowds, but both were so positive and enlightening. Plus I made a lot of new friends. I like people.

HOW was focused on designers making a transition into the interactive design world so there was excitement and discovery around every corner. It is a bit intimidating for anyone to learn a new medium, but it can also be an adventure – one I was happy to take part in. Hell, my presentation was featured on How Interactive and Slideshare.net and has been viewed over 17,000 times.

The Future of Web Design conference was focused on (you guessed it): the future! Some of the leading minds in our industry were presenting alongside me, and it was an incredible event. In fact, many said it was the best FOWD to date, which is saying a lot.

Now I know that most of you couldn’t attend either one of these conferences so I thought I’d share my slides here, so you could chat with me about them the next time we’re together. Yay for the internets!
